What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Property Manager position at By Appointment Hamptons?
Responsibilities:
Assist Property Managers in the care-taking of client homes
- Open doors for scheduled vendor appointments for clients per Property Manager
- Schedule work of vendors when requested by Property Manager
- Purchase small household items (food, beverages, etc.) as needed and keep an up-to-date list of expenses
- Submit receipts with the report to bookkeeping weekly
- Work with Property Manager to deliver and return customer’s cars for inspections and services
- Assist property manager with all duties including requests from clients
- Collect beach passes from towns for customer’s cars
- When necessary, communicate effectively with clients via email, text, or phone
- Maintain open communication with Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor
Qualifications:
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills including the ability to communicate across digital platforms and in-person
- Attention to detail/Organizational skills
- Effective time management; prioritization of time sensitive items and the ability to meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills to support relationships with a broad range of stakeholders
- Proficiency with word processing software and other related tools
- A minimum of one-year experience in a customer service-related industry for single family home construction.
- Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance is required; position requires own vehicle to fulfill all of job’s functions.
