Duties
- Conduct thorough research to identify potential grant opportunities that align with the organization’s goals.
- Write, edit, and proofread grant proposals, ensuring clarity, coherence, and adherence to guidelines.
- Develop budgets and financial plans for grant proposals in collaboration with relevant departments.
- Manage the entire grant application process, including tracking deadlines and submission requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of submitted proposals and their outcomes in databases.
- Collaborate with program development teams to gather necessary data and insights for proposal writing.
- Review and edit proposals submitted by other team members to ensure quality and consistency.
- Stay updated on best practices in grant writing and funding trends within the industry.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in grant writing or a related field is preferred.
- Strong skills in proposal writing, editing, and proofreading are essential.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes related to grant applications is a plus.
- Experience in contract management is beneficial but not required.
- Proficiency in research methodologies to identify funding sources effectively.
