SUMMARY
As a Junior Accountant at BYD North America, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, cost accounting, and financial reporting, while working closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and processing payments.
Process and verify invoices, issue payments, and collect payments from customer.
Record financial transactions, maintain accurate ledgers, and bank statements and general ledger accounts.
Work closely with other departments within the organization, such as procurement, sales, or operations, to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and tax requirements, including preparation of tax filings.
Assist with the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Support annual audits and provide necessary documentation and information.
Help prepare budgets and forecasts, monitor spending, and analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings.
Stay informed about changes to accounting regulations and standards and ensure financial reporting is in compliance with these requirements.
Monitor and track fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in accounting is required
- 1 years of experience in accounting
- Knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
- Strong proficiency in Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
