SUMMARY
BYD Truck Aftersales Department is seeking a responsible and communicative Warranty Specialist to handle and resolve warranty related tasks.
This individual must be extremely organized with attention to detail, hardworking, and dedicated to providing the highest level of quality and timeliness in the industry. We are seeking a person who is highly responsible, and great communicative. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint and basic ability to operate ERP or WMS. Adapt to new technology as necessary.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Process all warranty paperwork on a timely basis, ensure proper documentation and verifying criteria required by vendors or customers.
- Communicates with venders and service team to define the scope of warranty claim resolution and to set expectations.
- Reconciling all warranty receivables and working with the corresponding departments to obtain payments.
- Ensure customers / dealership are paid for all warranty work in an accurate and timely fashion by preparing, flagging, submitting, and following up on each claim.
- Handle rejected claims according to dealership and / or manufacturers specifications and follow up on outstanding claims.
- Arrange and coordinates with internal team and vendors / manufacturers to ensure prompt receipt of replacement parts.
