Demand Planning Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY

We’re looking for a highly analytical and fashion-savvy Demand Planning Analyst with 3 years of experience to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll forecast product demand across multiple categories and channels, ensuring we’re delivering the right styles, in the right quantities, at the right time. You’ll play a key part in driving inventory efficiency, minimizing stockouts, and supporting successful product launches across seasonal and core assortments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and maintain accurate demand forecasts at the SKU/style/color level using historical sales data, product lifecycle info, and market trends.
• Partner with Merchandising, Buying, Sales, and Marketing teams to understand future demand drivers (e.g., promotions, seasonality, drops).
• Track forecast accuracy and make data-driven adjustments to align with actual sales performance.
• Analyze trends in sales velocity, size curves, regional performance, and product lifecycle to inform replenishment and markdown strategies.
• Collaborate with Production and Inventory Planning to ensure timely and accurate inventory availability across DTC and wholesale channels.
• Assist in seasonal planning and post-mortem analyses to drive continuous improvement.
• Create dashboards, reports, and tools that help cross-functional teams make informed decisions

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Merchandising, or related field.
• 3 years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, or merchandise planning—ideally in the apparel, fashion, or retail industry.
• Strong Excel skills; experience with forecasting tools or ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Anaplan, SAP, etc.).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally with creative and operational teams.
• Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
• Detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
