Purpose of Position:
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of miscellaneous mechanical and building trade tasks in the maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment, as well as simple construction and fabrication tasks. A working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and refrigeration systems is essential. The individual must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
Job Responsibilities & Basic Qualifications:
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC and refrigeration equipment
- Ensuring general maintenance of all facilities and equipment on property, including grounds
- Performs basic electrical installation and repair work
- Carries out semi-skilled maintenance tasks in the construction, maintenance, and repair of Byrne Dairy retail stores
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Applicants must possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- At least one to three years of experience in a maintenance-related field
- Meet minimum requirements on pre-employment testing and have a valid driver's license
- Considerable knowledge of building and mechanical trades, including HVAC and carpentry
