Byrne & Jones Construction seeks a skilled and detail-oriented sport court installer/painter to join our team. This position will prepare, paint, and maintain sports courts, including tennis, pickleball, and basketball, while leading and supervising the crews.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with project details and project timelines.
- Manage daily operations on-site
- Coordinate crew activities, maintain equipment, and communicate with project managers to ensure project success
- Prepare sport court surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and patching cracks to ensure proper adhesion of paint
- Measure and mark sports court lines and boundaries according to regulations and client requirements
- Application of paint and coatings to sports court surfaces (indoor and outdoor), ensuring even coverage and following specific guidelines for each type of sport
- Sealing and finishing using sealants or finishes to protect surfaces from wear and weather
Qualifications:
- Experience as a painter, preferably with experience in sport court painting
- Knowledge of court painting techniques, materials, and tools used
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
