What are the responsibilities and job description for the CCNP/CCSP Network Security Analyst (St. Louis candidates only) position at Byrne Software Technologies?
Responsibilities:
- Perform network design, architecting, and monitoring of the Company global networks.
- Assist with vulnerability assessments and remediation, analysis into potential security related events and incidents.
- Design, integrate, and operate IT security systems for the protection of the company’s infrastructure.
- Evaluate new security threats and their potential risk to the company.
- Report to IT Manager to ensure security and network requirements are identified and followed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 years relevant experience in Network Security Analysis
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field preferred
- Network and/or security certifications: CCSP, and/or CCNP
- Network Configuration and Management: Experience with routers and switches from various vendors (Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, Meraki, Juniper). Advanced troubleshooting skills for network issues. Knowledge of WAN optimization technologies.
- Security: Experience with various firewall types and VPN technologies (site-to-site, SSL, IPSEC); Familiarity with security frameworks (ISO 27001, COBIT, ITIL); Hands-on experience with security incident event monitoring, correlation, and investigations; detailed knowledge of incident response methodology and vulnerability testing.
- Wireless Technologies: Thorough understanding of wireless technologies and Wi-Fi systems.
- Project Management: Experience leading projects and performing project management; Creating processes and procedures.
- Communication: Excellent technical writing skills providing technical guidance and mentorship.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to a global environment and work with a diverse team; Participate in after-hour on-call rotation.
