Molding Summer Help

Job Summary: The Molding Summer Help will assist with day to day operations in the Molding department to gain hands-on experience with injection molding machines, molds, and auxiliary equipment. They will also be assigned specific process improvement projects that directly support the 2025 corporate strategy.

Scope Of Projects

• PFAS free material options – coordinate sampling and evaluate viability.
• Once familiar with the mold changeover processes, lead a SMED event to identify and eliminate waste.
  
  

Experience And General Skills Required

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Basic computer skills
• Previous injection molding experience a plus
• Automation/Robot programming experience a plus
  
  

Education Requirements

• The ideal candidate is pursuing a degree in Plastics Engineering
• Candidates should have completed their introductory level classes
  
  

Details & Schedule: This is a paid onsite position to be completed over the summer of 2025. The timetable of this position is flexible, depending upon candidate needs. Candidates that are seeking full-time employment upon graduation are encouraged to apply.
