Job Description :
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Gather information from end users and work with software developers to answer user questions and to solve user issues.
Obtain technical data from independent observation, research, review with technical staff members, and studies of published materials and existing documentation.
Work with subject matter experts (SMEs), analysts, programmers, and other technical staff to obtain relevant information on technologies, methods, and standards of software, applications, and systems.
Interface with a diverse group of end users to understand and resolve user issues with the system.
Document and track user issue resolution in ticketing system and leverage this data to develop FAQs and other knowledge management materials.
Create, edit, and manage material prepared by other writers.
Perform quality assurance on all materials.
Demonstrate and leverage effective questioning, written communication, verbal communication, troubleshooting, problem-solving skills, and technical writing skills.
Required Skills :
Required Qualifications :
2 years of experience in a role that requires technical writing, such as a Technical Writer, Configuration Manager, Systems Engineer, Knowledge Manager, Instructional Designer, Technical Trainer, or similar role.
2 years of experience with creating documents that effectively communicate highly technical material to non-technical audiences.
Experience with research and analysis.
Experience successfully managing multiple projects and delivering on tight deadlines.
Bachelor's Degree or High School diploma plus additional 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence.
Familiarity with the Assessment & Authorization ProcessOptional Skills :
MUST be a US Citizen with a U.S. Government clearance - Intel with Polygraph
