Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and comfortable.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the Toast POS system, ensuring all special requests are noted.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Process payments accurately using the cash register and handle cash transactions responsibly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Adhere to all food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and timely delivery of meals.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices to maintain a clean and safe dining environment.
- Experience with cash registers and handling cash transactions efficiently.
- Background in the food industry, particularly in guest services within a restaurant setting.
