What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inside Salesperson/CSR position at BZO Wheel and Tire Distributor?
Summary:
This position reports to the Regional Manager and is responsible for a wide variety of sales and service-related functions, including growing sales with existing and new customers, and other duties that may be required from time to time.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive and accurately process orders in a fast-paced environment (via phone, website, e-mail, and EDI from customers).
- Process internal orders for specialty and internal “house” accounts.
- Generate and maintain individual processing procedures by customer.
- Provide knowledgeable answers to questions regarding product, product availability, and pricing.
- Contact customers daily to obtain order specifics.
- Review backorders, contact customers, and release backorders in accordance with the customer’s request and corporate policies.
- Provide administrative support for the sales team in the field.
- Assist the company in growing the regional business through increased communication, technical knowledge, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Outside Salesperson with non-program dealers and new customers.
- Provide knowledgeable answers to questions regarding product, product availability, and pricing.
- Handle customer complaints in a proper manner in coordination with related departments.
- Other duties as assigned.
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
- Effective communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Ability to plan and manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail.
- Strong team player and ability to interact professionally with internal and external customers.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the duties and responsibilities of the job.
- Must have a positive attitude and possess strong people skills.
Education and Experience:
- Customer Service and/or call center environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
- Bi-lingual a plus but not required.
- Automotive parts and or tire experience a plus but not required.
