C & B Operations, LLC is a progressive family-owned company that has grown over 35 years to include thirty-six John Deere dealerships in six states. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Product and Technology Team Manager to lead a team of five dedicated Product and Technology Specialists. This candidate will work out of our Field Support Office in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. In this role, you will be responsible for driving product knowledge, technology adoption, and customer satisfaction through strategic planning and execution. As a competent communicator with excellent computer skills, you will work closely with Stores and Regions to develop and implement effective demonstration plans that align with the goals of increasing customer engagement and technology renewal.
The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for John Deere products and technology, demonstrating a deep understanding of the brand and its offerings. You will lead by example, providing mentorship and support to your team, ensuring that all members are equipped to meet customer needs and enhance technology usage across key markets.
Key responsibilities include managing demo activities, ensuring high customer satisfaction, and driving the adoption of John Deere technology solutions. This role requires regular travel (1-3 weeks per month), and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals. Essential Duties:
- Create Marketing and Sales Campaigns to grow Product Line Sales (New & Used)
- Understand Market Share gaps at Stores and Regions and work with stores to improve
- Implement and Lead the growth of Precision Upgrade Sales on ALL Product Lines
- Measure the Adoption, Utilization, and Renewal of Technology on the Product Line
- Assist Stores and Regions with Product Demonstrations that align with John Deere programs
- Coordinate and Manage Limited Production Build (LPB) Units with John Deere
- Develop robust Education Strategy for Parts, Service, and Sales employees to gain product confidence in the Product Line and Associated Technology
- Collaborate with C & B Support Center to mentor and lead seasonal customer support strategies
- Work with Marketing department on Product Videos, Product Brochures, or any other resources needed to grow Sales & Awareness of Product Value & Technology on Product Line
- Ensure C & B is compliant with the New Model Qualification requirements
- Collaborate with Regional Sales and Aftermarket Managers on Customer and Employee Sales Clinics, Sales Camps, and any other events that contribute to Sales, Parts and Service Growth.
- Create content for the C & B Website and Social Media platforms to enable the Marketing Team to effectively connect and engage with prospective C & B customers.
- Lead the John Deere Customer Experience Strategy to ensure we are getting good feedback from customers on their satisfaction from the Product Line and the Associated Technology.
- Collaborate with the Ag Leadership Team on Achieving Key Ag Division metrics
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Strong background in John Deere Agriculture and Technology solutions
- Proven leadership experience with a focus on customer success, product support, and team development

Demonstrated ability to manage and optimize cross-functional teams across sales, service, and parts functions
Expertise with systems such as Expert Connect, Anvil, JDSMO, JDSO, and other related John Deere software systems
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across regions and teams
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to implement practical solutions at scale
- Deep knowledge of John Deere’s product offerings, technology solutions, and systems to support internal teams and customers effectively
- Passion for continuous improvement and driving customer success in the field
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Agriculture, Business, Technology, or similar)
- Additional certifications or training in agricultural technology, business operations, or customer support management a plus
