Parts Runner

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Parts Runner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely delivery and pickup of parts and materials, ensuring that operations run smoothly. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, as well as the ability to navigate various driving conditions and handle equipment safely.

Duties

• Deliver parts and materials to designated locations in a timely manner.
• Pick up parts from suppliers and return them to the facility.
• Operate various vehicles including box trucks and forklifts as needed.
• Load and unload parts using pallet jacks and other equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Assist with inventory management by tracking parts delivered and received.
• Ensure that all safety protocols are followed while driving and handling materials.

Skills

• Proven experience as a courier or delivery driver is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
• Ability to drive various types of vehicles, including box trucks and commercial vehicles.
• Familiarity with operating forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently.
• Capability to lift heavy items and move them safely as required.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate record keeping.
• Ability to work independently while also being part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
