Areas of Responsibility and Job Requirements:
The HQS violations coordinator will track and assist with all NSPIRE HQS pre-inspections and violations from NYCHA, HPD, AND CVR regulatory agencies.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Research and communicate with property management regarding NSPIRE HQS inspection schedules, NSPIRE HQS certification discrepancies and rejections of documents submitted. Research includes monitoring the various regulatory agency portals daily and uploading certification documents.
- Maintain the Master NSPIRE HQS Trackers and assist with data input and monitoring. Provide summaries as requested by senior management.
- Monitor the NSPIRE HQS pre-inspection appointments in Happy Co. and corresponding generated work tickets.
- Act as liaison for NSPIRE HQS agencies. This includes troubleshooting and communicating with regulatory agencies on discrepancies on ledgers, the curing of NE2, Notice of Violation and Certificate of Corrections.
- Coordinates and follows up with property management teams to resolve NSPIRE HQS issues before termination of subsidy.
- Work with AR and Collections to resolve NSPIRE HQS subsidy suspension issues.
- Review all NSPIRE HQS inquiries and work with the Senior Director to create solutions.
- Submit weekly summaries to the Senior Director.
Minimum Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma and/or equivalency
- Associate degree, preferred
Minimum Years of Experience Required:
- 4 year of comparable experience
Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel, MS Word and general computer and office skills are required.
- Must have excellent organizational, communication, and attention to detail skills.
- Familiarity with SiteCompli, Yardi or similar industry-related software is desired.
- Knowledge of NYCHA, HPD, and DHCR/CVR violation procedures and guidelines required; previous experience of processing violations preferred.
- Experience with Yardi or similar industry-related software is required
Competencies/Essential Job Functions:
This position consists mainly of sedentary work. The role involves sitting most of the time.

The incumbent may occasionally be subject to environmental conditions (protection from weather conditions, but not necessarily from temperature changes.
The incumbent may occasionally be subject to noise sufficient to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above the noise or vibration.
