What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Service Technician - Dairy Systems position at C & C FARM SUPPLY?
Full-time position that services and installs conventional and robotic dairy milking parlors and related equipment throughout the state of Virginia. Electrical experience required. Plumbing, HVAC, and computer skills are necessary and preferred. Experience is a plus. Training and educational opportunities for motivated employees are provided by the company. Clean driving record is needed, as company work truck is provided. Pay rate is commensurate with skill level and experience. Work week is Mon - Thurs, 7:00-5:00. Once fully trained, position enters night and weekend on-call rotation with other technicians (approximately every 5 - 7 weeks). There is opportunity for overtime work. Pay rate increases with successfully completed training opportunities provided by the company, and going into on-call rotation.
Summary
As a Service Technician, you will be integral to installing, maintaining and repairing Dairy Milking Parlors throughout the state of Virginia, including Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems, with some light construction including welding. Reporting to the Service Manager, your core skills in electrical, refrigeration, plumbing and HVAC will be essential in diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently.
