What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift /Warehouse Picker (stand up) position at C & C Power Inc?
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Forklift / Warehouse Picker (stand up) is responsible for shipping (outbound), receiving (inbound), material handling, and warehouse organization.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be knowledgeable of Lean Manufacturing Principles, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Safe Operation of Material Handling Equipment and Inventory Systems.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Ability to communicate with all levels in within the organization.
- Able to work and promote a team environment.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal, communication (verbal & written) and organizational skills.
EXPERIENCE:
- Warehouse experience including picking, labeling, and loading material
- Standing forklift experience
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Light load lifting may be necessary (up to 50 lbs.). Light bending and reaching. Frequent typing and use of mouse and radio.
