Duties
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for public and government projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead.
- Review and analyze bid documents and prepare competitive bids for projects based on scope, budget, and timeline.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to source materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Assist in bid submission preparation, including documentation and compliance with government requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software.
- Strong understanding of cost control principles and practices within the construction industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal..
- Familiarity with construction site operations and safety protocols.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in preparing estimates.
