Job Summary
C&H Solutions in Ault, Colorado is currently seeking candidates to fill several full-time positions supporting our growing Ag Solids business. The Ag Services position reports to the business unit manager and is responsible for operating heavy farm machinery and equipment, project/job set up and tear down, fluid/solids handling … at multiple on-site and off-site locations in the region. The ability to work as a team and effectively complete assigned duties is critical to our success.
Responsibilities
Operate farm equipment and machinery to support the solids (manure handling) business
Maintain condition of assigned vehicles – wash, grease, maintain PTO…
Complete daily documentation and reporting
Monitor pumps to maintain rate, and tanks to maintain levels
Show up on time and ready to work until the job is done
Perform duties outside and be prepared for all weather conditions.
Follow and support workplace safety and compliance
Work well in a team environment to achieve objectives and deadlines
Perform various related tasks and duties as assigned
Preferred Skills/Competencies
Experience operating large farm equipment
General knowledge of fluid dynamics, fluid handling – pumps, hoses, connections…
Experience with hooking and unhooking equipment from draw bar or 3 point /PTO
Work safe with understanding of body and equipment placement
Strong mechanical aptitude
Demonstrated success working on/with teams
Ability and willingness to work “seasonal” overtime
Ambitious self-starter – ability to work with limited direct oversite
Valid driver’s license
Ability to lift 75 pounds
