Robinson is currently hiring a General Manager for our Capacity team within North America Surface Transportation (NAST).  In this role, you will lead a dynamic team comprising both people leaders and individual contributors from our portfolio and coverage teams at our Atlanta capacity center. You will impact strategic growth by managing and planning to achieve key business and financial objectives, all while aligning with the enterprise’s vision and goals.   • Responsibilities : Prioritize customer and carrier needs, ensuring decisions and actions are customer-focusedUtilize deep knowledge of C.H. Robinson’s products and services to identify growth opportunities, optimize solutions, and stay ahead of industry trendsAlign the team with enterprise strategic goals, regularly communicate key metrics, and motivate employees to achieve business resultsIdentify gaps, leverages resources and technology to enhance efficiency, productivity, and financial outcomesExecute strategies to strengthen and grow carrier and customer relationshipsDrive performance and growth of team leaders and reports through coaching, feedback, and mentoringReview engagement data, implement plans to foster a positive culture, and support retentionCreate a safe, inclusive environment by reducing barriers and supporting equity-driven policiesEmbraces change and visibly leads change management initiatives, including active involvement in communication, implementation, and reinforcementPartner with internal resources to maximize cash flow, including the claims, billing, and payment processes while serving as a point of escalation and decision makerPlan, strategize, and deploy resources to drive business opportunities and manage daily service deliveryBuild, manage, and leverage internal relationships across all layers of the organization to ensure collaboration, consistency, quality, issue resolution, process and / or service improvements d to maximize efficiencies and resultsRequired Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or universityMinimum 7 years logistics industry experienceMinimum 3 years of people management experienceAbility to travel up to 30% (domestically)Proven experience utilizing analytical tools to understand and manage businessPreferred Qualifications : Strong knowledge of C.H.
