About the Role:
This role involves developing long-term relationships with clients and their contractors by providing excellent service and demonstrating our company's expertise through superior performance. You will directly support customer supply chains by efficiently moving their freight and interacting with customers to build and strengthen relationships, increase efficiency, and conduct analysis to help customers maximize our technology offerings.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all project files for inbound and outbound truck, rail, sea, air, and barge transportation
- Create billing and project report templates for Project Logistics Coordinators
- Ensure compliance with insurance requirements, reporting, and claim settlement
- Manage customer expectations through the creation and utilization of SOPs, KPIs, and other account-specific metrics
- Conduct regular business reviews, using internal analytics and market intelligence to identify trends and opportunities for growth
- Adhere to corporate communication and confidentiality policies
- Design and execute solutions from quote to cash
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of Global Forwarding Operations and/or Project Logistics experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Ability to travel up to 20% (for offsite Project Logistics Specialist up to 100%)
- Ability to work independently and provide onsite management of small to medium projects
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven office environment
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills and phone etiquette
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
- Knowledge or coursework in Supply Chain, Logistics and/or International Business
Salary Range: $110,000 - $140,000 per year
