Harper Auto Group is actively seeking a Title Clerk to join our growing Titles Team at our Ford / KIA dealership in Belle Vernon, PA. This is a critical role responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of vehicle titles and registrations across our expansive dealership network.
As a Title Clerk, you’ll be part of a fast-paced administrative team where your ability to manage legal documentation, ensure compliance, and maintain meticulous records will directly contribute to our continued success and reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

Process and submit vehicle titles and registrations for new and pre-owned vehicles in compliance with Pennsylvania state regulations.

Review and verify legal documentation for accuracy and completeness before submission to the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).

Handle interstate title transfers, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up with state agencies.

Maintain organized records, filing systems, and logs for all pending and completed title work.

Input relevant accounting data and prepare paperwork for vehicle transfers between dealerships or to customers.

Proactively track and resolve title-related discrepancies, delays, or missing information.

Serve as a liaison between sales departments, customers, and state agencies regarding titling concerns.

Uphold professionalism, confidentiality, and a positive, team-oriented attitude in a dynamic administrative setting.
Qualifications:

Prior experience in automotive title processing, DMV paperwork, or similar administrative role strongly preferred.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and dealership management software (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar).

Strong knowledge of PA title regulations and DMV procedures (knowledge of out-of-state processing a plus).

Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and ability to prioritize tasks independently.

High level of professionalism and strong communication skills (both written and verbal).

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional administrative training or certifications are a plus.
