Summary: This position is responsible for preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming shipments. Their duties include organizing inventory for easy retrieval as new orders come in, reviewing incoming and outgoing shipment schedules to maintain productive operations and documenting damages to inventory.

Requirements: Must have proven forklift and shipping experience, in a manufacturing setting

Skills and Qualifications:

• Must have proven forklift experience
• Must be able to read a tape measure
• Must work 1- 2 rotating Saturday’s in the month, hours are flexible
• Must have proven shipping/warehouse experience
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Work well as part of a team as well as independently
• Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
• Excel at planning workflow and prioritizing tasks
• Manage your time well when you have competing priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excel at performing repetitive tasks accurately for long periods of time

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area for pickup
• Coordinate with all departments to fulfill specific and ongoing inventory and shipping needs
• Maintain excellent service by following organization standards of quality, and national standards of shipping best-practices
• Ensure a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, packing area, and workstations neat; maintain clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Document any necessary updates to process and aid in inventory management
• Pack and ship items securely and effectively to minimize breakage
• Build and wrap pallets for secure shipment with freight carriers
• Fill all customer orders with accuracy and timeliness
• Pack sold items properly and ship in a timely basis per policy
• Ensure that incoming and outgoing inventory and shipments are as secure and well-organized ass possible

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
