What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment and Building Maintenance Technician position at C L M Equipment Co., Inc.?
Building and Grounds Responsibilities include maintaining building and grounds for Broussard equipment dealer as well as performing other tasks to include:- Maintain lawn and landscaping utilizing power equipment- Ability to perform light plumbing and other property related repairs and maintenance is a plus - Perform general janitorial duties including trash removal, floor maintenance, restroom maintenance
Perform occasional janitorial duties including window cleaning and dusting in public areas- Preventive maintenance including HVAC system filter replacement, lightbulb replacement, monitor fire extinguishers- Periodic building refurbishing including painting, pressure washing, furniture or fixture moving- Inventory of cleaning and paper supplies.
Use company vehicle to run errands as necessary.
Equipment Maintenance Assist shop personnel with maintenance tasks - opportunity to learn machinery maintenance- Operate forklift, backhoe and other equipment (training provided)
Clean rental equipment upon return and prepare equipment to be rented using pressure washer equipment. Move equipment to staging area and yard display. Assist with attachment removal and installation.
Prepare facility for meetings and events on occasion
Typical schedule is Monday through Friday - 7:30am - 4:30pm with hour off for lunch and two paid breaks- Occasional overtime available and/or required- Opportunity for advancement depending on willingness to learn new skills- Must be dependable and have reliable transportation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 42 per week
