Currently, our procurement team is seeking a replenishment coordinator/expeditor to join the group. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in replenishment or a similar role. This role is responsible for assisting in "placing and chasing" purchase orders - working closely with vendors and the warehouses to ensure that products are delivered on time to maintain necessary inventories to service the customers. They will work closely with the inventory planners, product sourcing team, warehouse teams, customer service, and sales teams. There is very close interaction with vendors to monitor deliveries and any delays - and to expedite deliveries when necessary.
This role will report to the Replenishment Supervisor, and work closely with departments across the business. The role is office-based from the CL Smith headquarters in mid-town St. Louis, MO (with the possible option or a hybrid schedule once the person is trained and up-to-speed. . .typically 1 - 2 days remote, and the balance in office).
Solid Microsoft skills are required, and the ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, vendors, and customers at all levels of an organization is critical. Good attention to detail and strong organization skills are critical
