Bartender (2025 Summer Season - May - October)

Job Description

The Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests at the ranch by dispensing beverages accurately and with a friendly demeanor. This role involves extensive guest interaction and contributes significantly to the overall quality of the ranch experience.

The Bartender must maintain high standards in both drink preparation and guest interaction, adhering to established rules and guidelines. Prudent judgment and legally required actions are essential when refusing to serve minors or intoxicated patrons and controlling inappropriate behavior.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at multiple bars indoors and outdoors.
• Ensure cleanliness of the bar, including glasses, counter, and equipment.
• Stock the bar daily.
• Serve wine during dinner hours.
• Closely down and secure the bar at night, including closing guest tabs and communicating night notes to the supervisor.
• Conduct inventory of liquor, mixes, and supplies.
• Familiarize yourself with the names of guests, members, and staff.
• Assist other departments as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A minimum of 6 months of bartending or barback experience.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Must be or become Tips Certified (C Lazy U will support certification).
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact positively with guests and members.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, tight-quartered environment.
• Valid Driver's License and insurability by the company's auto insurance carrier.
• Availability to work Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:

Employees regularly engage in talking and listening, reaching with hands, and standing for extended periods. They must frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and distance vision.
