We are growing and need to add a Traveling Repair & Installation Technician to our team. This member will assist with ensuring that our equipment is working properly in the field and repair any equipment that is experiencing problems. In-Field Repair Duties and Responsibilities
Travel required 70% of the time, some international travel possible
Comprehend customer needs, repair, test, and service their equipment both in person and over the phone
Understand control systems to repair electrical and mechanical hardware and configuration problems
Communicate and cooperate with technical team
Will be required to install customer equipment
Build positive relationships with customers
Requirements and Qualifications:
Ability to work and travel domestically and internationally
Above average mechanical aptitude and knowledge
Knowledge of basic assembly tools
Intermediate knowledge of computers and connecting to WiFi networks
Intermediate to advanced understanding of electrical terminology and equipment
High school diploma or equivalent required
Must have a team player mentality
Communication and customer service skills are a must
Experience in condition-based maintenance techniques, precision mechanical alignments, and maintenance of applicable process equipment
Ability to work outside in various weather conditions
Ability and willingness to follow all legal and company safety regulations
Must be able to lift 50lbs comfortably
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record - Company Vehicle will be used and provided
