Our client is seeking a mid-level intellectual property litigation associate with 3-6 years of experience in litigation for their Nashville office. Substantive intellectual property experience, especially trademark, is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will have the following experience and skillset:
- Arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, and managing discovery
- Analyzing, researching, and drafting briefs addressing sophisticated legal issues, sometimes in unsettled areas of law
- Trial Preparation
- Curiosity and commitment to providing the highest quality client service
- Excellent communication skills and persuasive writing abilities
- Ability to be both strategic and analytical, managing large caseloads and working independently or as part of a team
- Strong academic credentials
- Admitted to practice in Tennessee (or willing to sit for/waive into the Tennessee bar)
