Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Management Admin for our Civil Division. This role involves working hand-in-hand with project management and tracking jobs from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, and the ability to coordinate multiple facets of a project. The goal is to ensure timely, budget-conscious, and high-quality project delivery within defined scopes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and administer the Company's prime contract and subcontract agreements.
- Track all phases of construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes.
- Develop and maintain detailed project spreadsheets, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Manage budget and financial reporting, interpret and analyze reports to ensure adherence to project budget. Management of financial aspect of contract (rental equipment, income/expenses, etc.) to protect Company's interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with client(s).
- Maintain cost control and change management systems.
- Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and third-party vendors for seamless project execution.
- Monitor project progress using Procore Construction Software.
- Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics for accurate project planning.
- Issue Purchase Orders and Manage project budgets effectively
- Generate regular project reports for upper management.
- Collaborate with estimating teams to ensure accurate budgeting.
- Communicate project status and changes in scope or schedule to clients transparently.
- Foster a collaborative, team-oriented work environment focused on achieving project goals.
- Oversee project close-out; owner contact for post-constructions, including warranty period.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of construction site operations and management practices.
- Proficiency in using Procore for project management and document control.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with construction estimating techniques for precise budgeting.
- Experience with project scheduling tools to track progress efficiently.
- Strong leadership, team collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience with Federal and/or private construction projects.
- Thorough knowledge of construction cost, schedule, estimating, purchasing,
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles.
- Proficiency with computer applications.
- College degree preferred
