Who are you?
You are detail-oriented and passionate about financial accuracy and compliance. Join our team as a Treasury & Reconciliation Accountant! This critical role supports the bank’s financial management functions through precision and expertise. The Treasury & Reconciliation Accountant is responsible for performing Federal Reserve and core system reconciliations, SEC Section 16 filings, and other accounting and administrative duties that ensure the bank’s financial operations run smoothly and accurately. You will be responsible for:
- Reconciling the bank’s deposit accounts with the Federal Reserve and correspondent banks, resolving discrepancies, and adjusting the general ledger.
- Preparing and assisting with SEC Section 16 filings.
- Performing daily reconciliations of loan and deposit accounts with the general ledger.
- Administering and acting as the primary contact for Federal Reserve and correspondent bank accounts.
- Managing unclaimed property reporting and coordinating with third-party vendors and internal teams.
- Researching and clearing balances for non-post accounts, interoffice accounts, and other clearing items.
Requirements:
Education & Experience – You will need an associate's degree (bachelor’s degree preferred) in a directly related field AND one 2-4 years of related experience and/or training OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
