Who are you?
You are an experienced Mortgage Loan Originator with a passion for community impact. You have a strong understanding of the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and a drive to make a positive difference through home lending. As a Mortgage Loan Originator II, you will play a key role in our commitment to providing personalized, accessible mortgage solutions, especially to low- to moderate-income communities. You will be responsible for :
- Proactively engaging with prospective clients to originate residential mortgage loans, with some focus on loans that align with CRA guidelines, targeting low- to moderate-income communities.
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with realtors, builders, community partners, and other referral sources to generate a consistent pipeline of loan opportunities.
- Providing expert guidance to clients throughout the mortgage process, from application through closing, ensuring a smooth and personalized experience. Deliver clear communication about loan products, terms, and conditions
- Efficiently managing a pipeline of loans, tracking each loan's progress and ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and on time. Coordinate with internal departments such as underwriting, processing, and closing.
- Participating in community outreach programs and events to promote financial literacy and homeownership, particularly in underrepresented communities.
Requirements :
Education & Experience - 4-6 years of previous related mortgage lending experience and / or training OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred - CRA-related lending experience and bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
Required Certifications - NMLS (within 1 year of employment).
