Paraprofessional

C-Neta Behavioral Health Services is seeking paraprofessionals to work as behavior technicians, implementing behavior support plans for youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The BT will provide in-home ABA services to youth under the age of 21.

We are also looking for paraprofessionals who can provide respite services for youth with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.

BTs and respite workers are needed to work in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Mercer, Middlesex, Passaic and Union Counties.

Transportation required.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree
• Must have at least one (1) year of supervised experience in implementing behavior support plans for individuals who have intellectual/developmental disabilities
• Able to follow directions, procedures, and all ethical guidelines
• Good analytical/critical thinking skills with the ability to record and track therapy progress Ability to communicate and represent self in a professional manner
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
• Must be reliable and flexible, with a strong work ethic
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Implement interventions in Behavior Support Plan
• Teach skills to the youth
• Train parent/guardian in implementation of Behavior Support Plan
• Data collection
• Progress Notes

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Driver’s License/Abstract (not to exceed 5 points) required and CPR/First Aid Certification required. Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
