As a Manager of Revenue and Trust Accounting, you will oversee key financial functions, including contract revenue, accounts receivable, trust accounting, and credit losses. If you have a deep understanding of accounting principles, exceptional analytical skills, and a detail-oriented approach, this is the role for you!

What You’ll Do:

✨ Lead Strategic Financial Processes: Manage processes for calculating contract revenue under ASC Topic 606, track revenue recognition milestones, and ensure accurate trust accounting. ✨ Oversee Receivable Operations: Handle invoicing, payment application, and ensure timely processing of receivables while maintaining accuracy. ✨ Credit Loss Management: Implement and manage processes for estimating credit losses in accordance with ASC Topic 326, "CECL." ✨ Financial Reporting: Lead in-depth historical revenue and credit loss analytics, provide actionable insights, and contribute to monthly financial closes and reporting. ✨ Compliance and Collaboration: Ensure compliance with regulations, assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, and collaborate with auditors for annual audits. ✨ Mentorship: Guide junior accounting staff, promote professional development, and maintain a supportive, high-performance environment.

What You’ll Bring:

✅ Bilingual (Spanish) Preferred: Essential for effective communication within our diverse team and client base. ✅ 5-7 Years of Experience: Strong background in accounting, preferably with public accounting experience at a Big 4. ✅ Expert Knowledge of Accounting Standards: Advanced knowledge of US GAAP, specifically ASC Topics 606 and 326, with experience in contract revenue and trust accounting. ✅ Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to think critically, resolve discrepancies, and make informed decisions. ✅ Communication Skills: Present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner to both financial and non-financial stakeholders. ✅ Advanced Excel Skills: Proficiency in Excel, including creating complex spreadsheets and conducting detailed data analysis. ✅ Accounting Software/ERP Proficiency: Experience with accounting software and ERP systems, supporting streamlined financial operations.
