C&S Integrity Services is looking for a Cathodic Protection Construction Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our corrosion and cathodic protection team and be responsible for safety and performance of the construction team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, the ability to work independently and in a team environment, and the ability to follow safety protocols. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with or without Cathodic Protection experience to join a growing division.
Job Responsibilities:
* Follow safety regulations and procedures at all times.
* Manual labor associated with installing, repairing, and servicing conventional, deep well, and HDD ground beds
* Loading and unloading equipment and materials
* Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, and compact and level earth to grade specifications, using picks, shovels, tampers, and rakes
* SAFELY drive trucks and pull trailers with equipment and materials to construction sites
* SAFELY operate equipment (backhoe, trencher, mini excavator, auger, and forklift)
* Perform routine/preventative maintenance and inspection of equipment
* Clean up work area after each job.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Education, Experience and Skills Required:
* Must have a Class A CDL with an acceptable driving record
* Must be able to pass DOT drug test and physical
* Knowledge of DOT regulations for drivers and trucks
* Proficient in promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
* Adheres to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations.
* Ability to use hand tools including drills and grinders in a safe and effective manner.
Physical Capabilities and Requirements:
* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk, hear, use hands and fingers to handle or touch objects, tools, or controls. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. The employee must be able to move or lift up to 50 pounds and perform overhead work. The employee must also be capable of climbing using a ladder.

Schedule:
Must be able to travel regularly for up to 3 to 4 weeks at a time and work up to 12 hours a day.
Pay:
Starting wage range $26- $30/hr depending on experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 70 per week
