1. Mission
Proactively protect employees, subcontractors, and assets across all regions while continuously improving the CSC safety culture.
2. Measurables / Results
Maintain a recordable incident rate (TRIR) below industry average . Ensure 100% completion of required safety training for employees. Conduct jobsite audits at all Santa Rosa Beach region projects on a biweekly basis, documenting findings in Procore. Achieve an Experience Modification Rate (EMR) of 0.9 or lower . Improve Safety Climate Assessment Tool scores by at least 5% annually . Ensure all Site-Specific Safety Plans (SSSPs) are completed and reviewed before project start . 3. Competencies

Responsibilities
Safety Culture
Promote a strong safety culture through on-the-job training, employee engagement, and positive reinforcement . Conduct and document monthly safety meetings in accordance with the company calendar. Provide safety guidance and support to field staff through regular jobsite visits. Track and schedule mandatory safety training for all employees , ensuring compliance. Attend events, onboardings, and meetings to reinforce safety awareness. Analyze Safety Climate Assessment results and collaborate on program improvements. Support
Work with Pre-Construction and Operations teams to integrate safety into project planning and execution. Monitor weather events and coordinate severe weather safety updates . Maintain an inventory of safety equipment and materials , ensuring availability at job sites and offices. Update and manage hazardous materials programs for projects and facilities. Develop and review Site-Specific Safety Plans (SSSPs) for all SRBprojects . Keep Procore safety documents up to date for active projects. Assist with workers compensation claim tracking. Occasionally travel to other regions to support safety initiatives. Audits & Compliance
Ensure OSHA standards and company policies are followed. Conduct jobsite audits for all Santa Rosa beach region projects on a biweekly basis. Assist with investigations into accidents, incidents, and near-misses , determining root causes and corrective actions. Confirm that post-audit corrective actions are implemented and documented. Assist in communication with subcontractors regarding safety audits and compliance expectations . 5. Culture Competencies (Core Values)

Education & Experience :
Associate's or Bachelors degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred but not required). 2 years of experience in construction safety, risk management, or a related field. OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification (required). First Aid / CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire. Experience conducting jobsite safety audits, incident investigations, and hazard assessments . Technical Skills & Knowledge :
Knowledge of OSHA regulations (29 CFR 1926) and construction safety best practices. Familiarity with workers' compensation reporting and claim management . Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and safety plans . Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and safety management software (e.g., Procore, SafetyCulture). Ability to develop and deliver safety training to employees and subcontractors.
