We are seeking a talented and creative individual to join our team as a Videographer/Video Editor. You will be an integral part of the creative team at C Squared Social, playing a crucial role in shaping our clients’ visual identities.
This role requires a blend of technical expertise, artistic flair, and a passion for storytelling through video. This is a dynamic position and the ideal candidate will possess a blend of creative skills to meet the ever-changing needs of our clients. Responsibilities:
Video Production:
● Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality videos for various platforms, including social media, websites, and promotional materials.
● Collaborate with internal teams to understand project goals and objectives.
● Select and set up appropriate equipment for each project, ensuring optimal video and audio quality.
● Capture compelling footage that aligns with the brand's message and style.
Editing and Post-Production:
● Edit raw footage to produce polished and engaging videos.
● Add graphics, VFX, SFX, etc. to enhance the visual appeal of videos.
● Incorporate feedback from internal departments and clients to refine and improve video content.
Collaboration:
● Collaborate with other team members, including graphic designers, copywriters, and marketing professionals, to ensure cohesive and effective campaigns.
● Communicate effectively with clients or internal teams to understand their vision and requirements.
● Work closely with the marketing team to align video content with overall marketing strategies.
Qualifications:
● Proven experience as a videographer and video editor.
● Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
● Strong understanding of videography and storytelling principles.
● Knowledge of various camera equipment and the ability to operate them effectively.
● Creative mindset with the ability to bring innovative ideas to the table.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
The ideal candidate will also have:
● A strong portfolio demonstrating skills across Adobe CC including Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
● Experience in lifestyle and studio photography
● Experience in audio recording and sound design
● A minimum of 2 years industry experience at another agency or similar in-house position
