Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Debt Collector to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing accounts, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining positive relationships with clients. This position requires strong communication skills and a solid understanding of revenue cycle management to effectively negotiate and resolve outstanding accounts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough account analysis to identify outstanding debts and prioritize collections efforts.
• Utilize effective phone etiquette to communicate with clients regarding their accounts, ensuring clarity and professionalism in all interactions.
• Negotiate payment arrangements with clients while adhering to company policies and compliance regulations.
• Perform account reconciliation to ensure accurate records of payments and outstanding balances.
• Maintain detailed records of all communications and transactions related to medical collections, ensuring compliance.
• Proven experience in medical collection or a similar role is preferred.
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.
• Proficient in using collection software and other relevant tools to manage accounts effectively.
• Team player, great attitude and good attendance a must.

FT Position 8:30-5:00 or 9:00 to 5:30 (one late night a week from 9:30-6:00)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
