Business Intelligence Data Analyst/Technical Data Analyst 2
Contract role on W2 Warren, MI (Hybrid Tuesday- Thursday on site) ONLY US CITIZEN/VALID GREEN-CARD HOLDERS REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE Description
About The Role
Through engagement with senior Leaders, cross-functional stakeholders and development teams, the Business Intelligence Data Analyst in Global Purchasing and Supply Chain (GPSC) will:
Develop strategy, define requirements, and deliver standardized and ad hoc reporting, data analytics, key performance metrics from proof of concept through production solution (focus on Budget and performance related reporting and analytics)
Analyze and create meaningful information for business use and decisions leveraging large amounts of data from structured and unstructured data sources
Lead and support cross-functional, innovation projects and integrated business solutions to enhance GPSC stakeholder capabilities and efficiencies
Collaborate on process and requirements definition and deployment of business and IT requests including new functionality / tools and training
Provide timely and accurate responses to Global Purchasing requests related to functionality, processes, and data in support of key GPSC systems and initiatives
Lead for GSM (Global Sourcing Management) and MPR (Material Performance Reporting) systems
Responsible for timely and accurate distribution of key budget files on a weekly/monthly basis
Support current and future Direct Material Budget discussions with GPSC Finance team
A successful Innovation Lead is customer (stakeholder) focused, influences change, naturally accepts ownership for project deliverables, explore opportunities to add value to job responsibilities, with a continued focus on achieving objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
Self-starter with the ability to influence others in a direct and indirect organizational structure across many different physical locations
HEAVY FOCUS on PowerBI and SQL & Customer Facing
Experience with database and data warehousing platforms (MS Access, SQL Server and Developer, Oracle, etc.); multiple reporting and visualization techniques and tools (Power BI, MS Project, Visio, etc.); and excellent knowledge of SharePoint
development, document management, and productivity (MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint) tools
Strong strategic and operational agility to connect ideas end to end and innovate solutions
High-level of analytical ability where problems are unusual and complex
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills including the ability to effectively facilitate meetings
Well-developed organizational skills including the ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines proactively and independently
Proactively and effectively manage and communicate project status, progress on deliverables and risks/issues to stakeholders
Knowledge of IT project management and requirements definition
Minimum Of 5 Years Relevant Experience
A Bachelor's degree in a business or technical discipline.
Knowledge of Global Purchasing and Supply Chain business processes and systems
