Swiss, Inc. is seeking to add an entry level Swiss Machine Operator to our team. C&W Swiss manufactures precision medical instruments, spinal implants, and bone screws using Star Swiss Style CNC lathes. We are a family-owned and operated machine shop that has been in business for over 25 years, operating first shift only. We believe in work life balance and strive for all our employees to do well. If you work for C&W Swiss you will be a name not a number, in our clean, well lit, climate-controlled facility.
You do not need to have machining experience, we will train you. Having strong mathematical and mechanical skills, a great work ethic, and a willingness to learn is all you need.
Responsibilities :
- Set up, tool changes, operation, edits, and minor programming of CNC lathes
- Machining of tight tolerance parts working from drawings and blueprints
- Quality control checks of parts to detect defects and ensure parts meet specification
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery
- Calculate dimensions and tolerance using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and specialty gages
Qualifications :
Education Requirement : High School Diploma or Equivalent
Pay : Competitive and Negotiable upon skill level
