Main Responsibilities
- Review Due Diligence reports, Loss control surveys, loss runs, and timeliness of premium payments.
- Collaborate with specialists such as premium auditors, claims adjusters, and loss control engineers for risk assessment.
- Manage underwriting assistants, ensuring reaction time to compliance issues and requests from internal departments.
- Present accounts to management for underwriting approval.
Requirements
- Three years industry experience in primary casualty account underwriting and production.
- Working knowledge of large account rating programs, including retrospective rating and large deductibles.
- Strong knowledge of casualty coverages and rating programs.
- People management skills and proficiency in Microsoft Products.
