Job Description:
The Property Claim Representative will be responsible for receiving and reviewing new homeowner and commercial property claims as they are entered into our system. They will contact insureds to discuss claim details, consider photo estimating or desk adjusting options as appropriate, and send out claims to independent adjusters based on the severity of the loss.
The representative will discuss the circumstances of the loss and request pertinent documentation from the insured. They will also review reports and documentation provided by independent adjusters and adjust reserves accordingly. Additionally, they will confirm coverage of each individual policy by reviewing policy endorsements and provide final figures and settle claims once coverage has been confirmed.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as analytical and decision-making skills. You should also be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with Guidewire software is a plus.
