Franciscan Health Indianapolis Campus 8111 S Emerson Ave Indianapolis, Indiana 46237 The Lead Mail Clerk is responsible for managing the processing and distribution of incoming, interdepartmental and outgoing mail for the facility. As the Lead, this position helps to manage the training and scheduling of other mail delivery staff. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Sort mail according to type and destination; segregates items that require special handling. Weigh letters and parcels, calculate mailing costs, and ensure proper postage is affixed to all outgoing mail. Complete rounds to all departments to pick up and deliver mail. Obtain signatures for delivery of registered mail and maintain records of Signature Required mail. Reconcile postage and meter invoices. QUALIFICATIONS Required High School Diploma/GED 2 years Mailroom Preferred 2 years Post Office Preferred Lots of walking throughout the Hospital Hours 8 am to 12 pm.
