C3E InnoveX is seeking an experienced VTC Support Lead to manage and maintain Video Teleconference (VTC) systems for Air Force IT Support Contract. The VTC Support Lead will oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of secure VTC systems, ensuring seamless communication for Air Force leadership, command briefings, and classified/unclassified mission-critical meetings.
As the VTC Support Lead, you will manage AETC’s secure VTC infrastructure, provide end-user support, and coordinate with Air Force Network Operations (AFNET), DISA, and other DoD agencies to ensure interoperability and performance compliance.
Responsibilities
- VTC Operations & Management
- Manage, configure, and troubleshoot VTC endpoints, bridges, and conferencing hardware/software.
✅ System Administration & Network Integration
- Maintain and update Cisco, Polycom, and other DoD-approved VTC systems.
- Coordinate with AFNET, Base Communication Offices, and DISA for secure VTC network integration.
- Support firewalls, IP configurations, VLANs, and network troubleshooting for seamless VTC performance.
✅ End-User Training & Technical Support
- Provide Tier 1 & Tier 2 support for Air Force leadership, VIPs, and operational users.
- Develop training materials and conduct hands-on user training for VTC operations.
- Maintain a VTC knowledge base for troubleshooting and self-help guides.
✅ Security & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with DISA STIGs, RMF, and DoD 8140.03 security protocols for VTC systems.
- Conduct routine security patching, firmware updates, and system hardening to meet Air Force cybersecurity standards.
- Manage access controls, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and encryption for secure VTC sessions.
✅ Incident Management & Performance Optimization
- Monitor VTC system performance, conduct diagnostics, and resolve technical issues in real-time.
- Maintain detailed logs, service reports, and incident response documentation.
- Implement best practices for VTC capacity planning, bandwidth management, and quality assurance.
Required Qualifications
Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Telecommunications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Certifications:
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) – Required
- CompTIA Security – Required
- Polycom, Cisco, or Avaya VTC certifications (Preferred)
- Experience:
- 5 years managing DoD VTC operations in classified/unclassified environments.
- Expertise in Cisco Unified Communications, VTC bridges, and endpoint configurations.
- Experience supporting high-profile, secure VTC sessions for DoD/USAF leadership.
- Strong knowledge of SIPRNet/NIPRNet configurations, VPNs, and network security best practices.
- Security Clearance:Active Secret clearance (Required); Top Secret (Preferred).Preferred Qualifications✔Prior experience supporting Air Force or DoD VTC operations

✔Hands-on experience with DISA DVS-G, Cisco VCS Expressway, and Polycom RMX.
✔Familiarity with ITIL v4 incident response & DoD-approved ticketing systems (Remedy, , etc.).
✔Understanding of Defense Collaboration Services (DCS) and DoD-approved collaboration tools.
- Ensure secure and reliable VTC communication for command briefings and mission-critical operations.
- Support classified (SIPR) and unclassified (NIPR) VTC sessions in compliance with DoD security policies.
