Facilities Operations Specialist

Qualifications :
Minimum education required of the position : High school graduate or equivalent.
Minimum experience required of the position : Forklift experience preferred.
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position : Basic operating knowledge of computer based operating systems and applications such as Microsoft Windows Suite. Basic safety procedures and PPE usage.
Ability to perform job duties that require standing, kneeling, crouching, twisting upper body, working in cramped positions in small opening and climbing hand over hand, lifting 50 lbs., and working on ladders / lifts.
Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities :
Priority 1 : 50% Event and meeting room setups : setting up tables, chairs, and other furniture per customer specifications
Priority 2 : 30% Operation of forklift for shipping and receiving.
Priority 3 : 20% Routine work orders : secure tote pickup and delivery, keyboard tray installs, assist with personnel moves, other assorted tasks Knowledge : Develops skills to perform basic, repetitive and manual activities in the job.
Expertise : Understands own tasks and how they relate to others in the team. Leadership : Has no supervisory responsibilities.
Problem Solving : Uses existing procedures to perform straightforward tasks; has limited opportunity to solve problems.
Impact : Impacts own work. Interpersonal Skills : Requires basic communication skills and common courtesy.
Working Conditions : M-F from 8 : 00AM to 5 : 00PM; some flexibility / additional hours may be required; some travel may be required; work inside and outside in varied weather conditions Essential Functions : Stoop, crawl, kneel and or stand. Lift up to 50 lbs. Sitting for long periods of time.
Manual / Unskilled Labor - Manual / Unskilled Labor Generalist / Multi Performs a variety of general manual labor tasks, (e.g., lifting and moving materials, loading and unloading vehicles, digging and refilling holes).
