The Associate Tax Auditor position will be responsible for:
- Instructing new and existing CDTFA team members on audit procedures, tax laws, and regulations.
- Preparing correspondence involving taxpayers and a varied group of representatives from government and private industry, related to California’s IFTA program.
- Developing and producing reports, schedules, pamphlets, manuals, and performing studies.
- Preparing correspondence to taxpayers and a varied group of representatives, from government and private industry, related to California’s International Fuel Tax Agreement program.
- Performing more routine audit functions and prepares appropriate audit reports.
- Developing and producing reports and schedules and may assist on special projects.

Working Conditions
