The position will be in the Sacramento Headquarters.
- Leads the development of tax and fee policies and procedures with other units within the CDTFA, other state revenue agencies and the federal government.
- Leads the implementation of new tax and fee laws.
- Liaisons with other agencies in the administration of our tax and fee programs.
- Researches, investigates, and helps to resolve complex tax and fee, audit, compliance and operational issues.
- Develops reports for management regarding various tax and fee programs.
- Prepares written correspondence on the application of tax and fee laws for the public.
Working in the Program Administration Branch provides team members the opportunity to work on all aspects of our tax and fee programs and works cooperatively with all areas in the agency. Working in the branch also exposes team members to our revenue system, registration process, return process, compliance functions, appeal process, audit process, other agencies, and all levels of our agency’s management team.
