The California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA) is seeking ambitious and driven individuals to join us. - Serves as the highest level technical specialist and advisor to the HOB Chief.
- Prepares or coordinates the preparation of responses and reports on a variety of technical, fiscal, or executive management requested subjects.
- Coordinates tracking of assignments, serves as liaison, and represents the HOB Chief as directed.
- Assigns, tracks and reviews Appeals' Decisions and advises the HOB Chief of the findings and results.
- Reviews completed assignments submitted by reporting sections and makes recommendations.
- Conducts independent, in-depth research on technical tax applications, consults with attorneys to resolve complex and unique legal issues, and prepares recommendations of proposed action to the HOB Chief.

Working Conditions
