The California Housing Finance Agency’s (CalHFA) Financing Division is responsible for ensuring the continued financial stability of the Agency. The Financing Division directs the investments of Agency funds and actively manages the Agency’s outstanding debt portfolio through the issuance of bonds, notes, and other debt instruments, and manages financial agreements such as interest rate swaps, bank credit facilities, and remarketing agreements.
Position Summary
Under direct supervision of the Risk Manager, the Research Data Analyst I performs basic research, data gathering and statistical work on matters related to CalHFA’s ongoing lending programs and financial data.

Working Conditions
CalHFA is a high-rise building conveniently located in downtown Sacramento with access to public transportation (light rail and bus) and freeways (I-5, 99, and Business 80). It is a block from Downtown Commons (DOCO), the Golden 1 Center, many restaurants and shopping. CalHFA employees also have access to an on-site ATM and gym located in the building.

OR
BE REINSTATEMENT ELIGIBLE:
Have obtained previous permanent employment with the State of California in the same classification or in a classification that is comparable.
