The California Science Center seeks an Operations Analyst to support the Operations Unit. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at the California Science Center (CSC), a world-class science museum, that develops and features award-winning exhibits and internationally renowned education programs. The Science Center's workforce includes executive, managerial, supervisory, and administrative classifications, however, rank and file facility maintenance and skilled trades represent approximately fifty-one percent (51%) of its civil service workforce.


Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I (SSMI), the Operations Analyst (AGPA) serves as an administrative and operations lead performing a variety of analytical and staff services administrative support duties while exercising a high level of independence, initiative, and good judgment performing the assigned tasks. Responsibilities include procurement, contracts, data tracking, analysis, systems administration, and reporting.

This position is located in Los Angeles, South of Downtown Los Angeles within Exposition Park. Work schedule will be during regular business hours from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Parking is available at no cost to the employee. An alternate work schedule will be considered and remote work is available upon full on boarding determined by management
