What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping & Quality Associate position at CAB Signs?
Are you detail-oriented, dependable, and looking for a full-time position in a stable and growing company? We are a sign manufacturing company seeking a Shipping & Quality Associate to play a critical role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and are delivered to our customers efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Quality Assurance: Thoroughly inspect all jobs at each stage of production using a detailed checklist to ensure quality standards are met.
- Shipping & Packaging: Prepare and package all items for shipment, ensuring secure and accurate deliveries.
- Receiving Shipments: Manage incoming deliveries, including small packages (UPS) and larger materials (e.g., 48 x 96 sheets weighing 10-40 lbs).
- Job Coordination: Review our system to track jobs and follow up with the team to ensure timelines are met.
- Inventory & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized workspace while managing inventory for shipping and production materials.
- Sign Assembly: Add mounting to signs as required, such as foam tape, magnetic backing, Velcro, or other specified methods.
- Process Documentation: Capture photos of products during the production and packaging process for quality and reference.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Physical ability to lift and move materials (up to 40 lbs).
- Experience in a manufacturing or shipping/receiving role preferred.
- Dependable and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with basic tools and mounting methods (training provided).
